Due to Weather Related Problems at our Venue – The Empire State Railway Museum, this show had to be cancelled. Pipes froze beneath the ground and can’t be fixed until there is sufficient thawing. We are fairly confident this problem will not interfere with any of our subsequent booked concerts, and we will be working to hopefully rebook The Trapps as soon as that is possible. Please keep a continuing eye on our complete 2015 schedule.
The Trapps are one of the Northeast’s premier folk rock bands, described by Jason Fine, executive editor of Rolling Stone magazine, as “Elegant yet raw, darkly emotional but also shot through with light.”
The Trapps won Best Song for “Alright Now” in the AAA/Alternative category of the 2006 International Acoustic Music Awards Song Contest, and their music was featured.in the Relix Magazine June 2007 issue and compilation CD along with Wilco and Martin Sexton.
“Cheap Seats” [The Trapps most recent studio album] “delivers a stunning collection of songs filled with great tone and harmony that demand to be listened to again and again.” –Rick Schneider, Music Director, 98.1 WKZE
“It’s time for the whole country to finally hear The Trapps.” -Gary Chetkoff, President of WDST Radio Woodstock
