Part of a musical dynasty of impossibly gifted singer-songwriters, Sloan Wainwright recently released her 9th studio album, “Uncovering”: a collection of songs with the width and breadth that her fans always count on Sloan to deliver, as only she can. Defying standard categorization, Sloan consistently demonstrates her easy command of a variety of musical styles, held together by the melodious tone of her rich contralto.
